Hob: keep a note of the different occasions
For a hob enquiry: Retain settings and outcomes from ordinary use already observed. An intermittent issue can be difficult to describe from memory. Do not run further demonstrations of smoke, tripping or dangerous leakage.

For the appliance you actually own
Identify the fuel or hob format and copy the affected zone’s display. For induction, mention pan recognition during ordinary use. Do not keep resetting a hob that trips the electricity.
Why this belongs in the enquiry
The hob reference, fitting and observation allow a more specific discussion. They do not establish a failed part or guarantee a repair.
