For a oven enquiry: Mention a furniture door, stacked machine, cabinet housing or confined unit where it applies. A description of access helps plan the discussion; do not disconnect or drag equipment out.

For the appliance you actually own
A fan, light or clock can work while a selected cooking function fails to heat. Keep the mode symbol, temperature selection and affected cavity together rather than describing the whole oven as dead.
