CDA Tumble dryer · your observations
Start with the programme and the finished load.
A dryer that ends early needs a different account from one whose drum never turns. Include vented, condenser or heat-pump format and whether the laundry came out cold, warm or still damp.
The display gives a message or symbol
Copy every character from the safely visible panel, preserving zeroes, letters and punctuation. A code is model-dependent; an online meaning from another product cannot settle this enquiry.
Water or waste appears where it should not
Give the first visible position and what was happening at the time. Do not pull out a connected machine to trace it. Stop use where leakage creates electrical or waste-backup risks.
Where another person authorises work
Agree who owns the appliance, approves charges and provides entry. Keep those arrangements with the service address before a visit is discussed.
If some functions still work
List the functions separately, including the one that changed. A working light, fan or display is an observation rather than proof that the rest of the appliance is sound.
The CDA reference
Retain the complete CDA label and product ending, with the actual appliance type. A badge can cover different or historical products; it does not confirm current production, parts stock or acceptance of all models.
Discuss the proposed work
Call 0800 037 4915 with the model and sequence of events. Suitable work, charges and a Monday–Thursday appointment are checked for the individual request.
