Smeg Washer-dryer · your observations
Separate the wash from the drying stage.
Explain whether washing and emptying finished, then describe the drying selection and result. A combined appliance can wash normally while leaving laundry damp; keep the two observations separate.
A completed wash leaves a poor drying result
Include combined or dry-only selection, approximate load and whether the machine emptied normally. Drying airflow, sensing and temperature control can need assessment without establishing a failed component.
A dark panel or an unresponsive control
State whether any display or light remains on. Note a recent power interruption if one occurred. Keep electrical covers closed; an enquiry does not require live testing or measurements.
Where another person authorises work
Agree who owns the appliance, approves charges and provides entry. Keep those arrangements with the service address before a visit is discussed.
If some functions still work
List the functions separately, including the one that changed. A working light, fan or display is an observation rather than proof that the rest of the appliance is sound.
The Smeg reference
Retain the complete Smeg label and product ending, with the actual appliance type. A badge can cover different or historical products; it does not confirm current production, parts stock or acceptance of all models.
Discuss the proposed work
