Cooker: keep a note of the different occasions
For a cooker enquiry: Retain settings and outcomes from ordinary use already observed. An intermittent issue can be difficult to describe from memory. Do not run further demonstrations of smoke, tripping or dangerous leakage.

For the appliance you actually own
Identify the hob, grill or oven involved and whether the appliance is electric, gas or dual fuel. Gas work is considered individually; this is not an offer of gas conversions or AGA repairs.
Why this belongs in the enquiry
The cooker reference, fitting and observation allow a more specific discussion. They do not establish a failed part or guarantee a repair.
