Cooker · your observations
A cooker has several jobs. Which one changed?
Identify the hob, grill or oven involved and whether the appliance is electric, gas or dual fuel. Gas work is considered individually; this is not an offer of gas conversions or AGA repairs.
The grill no longer gives its usual result
Keep the selected grill mode and cavity with the observation. Use only the manufacturer’s normal door-position instructions. Stop using equipment that trips, burns or smells unsafe.
A new sound at a particular stage
A buzz at start-up and a scrape during movement are different observations. Note when it begins. Stop using equipment that burns, smokes or moves uncontrollably rather than recording another demonstration.
When someone else used it last
Keep their description of the setting and result. A direct observation is often clearer than a later guess about which component might have failed.
Before sending a picture
Check that the display or normal fitted position is in focus and personal paperwork is outside the frame. A useful picture does not require an unsafe demonstration.
Discuss the proposed work
