Freezer: keep a note of the different occasions
For a freezer enquiry: Retain settings and outcomes from ordinary use already observed. An intermittent issue can be difficult to describe from memory. Do not run further demonstrations of smoke, tripping or dangerous leakage.

Note the alarm, temperature display and where frost can be seen. Leave the ice and lining intact. An alarm can prompt several assessment routes; it does not identify a failed compressor.
