For a freezer enquiry: Explain actual stairs, entry controls or restrictions at the address. Clear ordinary belongings where practical, but leave disconnection and repositioning to an expressly agreed arrangement.

Note the alarm, temperature display and where frost can be seen. Leave the ice and lining intact. An alarm can prompt several assessment routes; it does not identify a failed compressor.
