Freezer · Focused observation
A different frost pattern is visible
Say whether frost is concentrated near the door or elsewhere that is already visible. Door sealing or defrost behaviour may need consideration. Do not chip the ice or use improvised heat.

How this relates to your freezer
Note the alarm, temperature display and where frost can be seen. Leave the ice and lining intact. An alarm can prompt several assessment routes; it does not identify a failed compressor.
Keep the observation separate from a diagnosis
Describe what you saw during ordinary use, then retain the complete model. An observation can help frame an assessment but does not establish which part is faulty.
A description is enough for the first contact
Do not repeat a cycle to recreate smoke, tripping, burning, unsafe movement or leakage near electrical parts. Keep connected equipment in place and do not remove covers.
