Freezer · your observations
Keep the warning with the visible condition.
Note the alarm, temperature display and where frost can be seen. Leave the ice and lining intact. An alarm can prompt several assessment routes; it does not identify a failed compressor.
A different frost pattern is visible
Say whether frost is concentrated near the door or elsewhere that is already visible. Door sealing or defrost behaviour may need consideration. Do not chip the ice or use improvised heat.
A new sound at a particular stage
A buzz at start-up and a scrape during movement are different observations. Note when it begins. Stop using equipment that burns, smokes or moves uncontrollably rather than recording another demonstration.
Where previous work is relevant
Retain any actual invoice or reference and explain what changed afterwards. A returned symptom may need a new assessment rather than the same assumed explanation.
When the behaviour varies
Settings, loads and outcomes from ordinary uses already observed can help describe variation. A normal result on one occasion is useful context, not a remote all-clear.
